The latest versions of the ClickView App for iOS and Android have a new feature called 'Local Storage'. It allows for a video to be downloaded and stored locally on your device. This helps to conserve bandwidth when the user is re-watching a video since the video is playing locally, within their local storage, rather downloading from the internet every time.
The 'Local Storage' feature also allows users to watch videos offline if they have pre downloaded the video to local storage. This is especially useful for teachers and students who do not have internet access at home. It is important to note that an internet connection is required for the initial downloading of the video to the local storage of the device. Once the video has been downloaded, the user will be able to view this without an internet connection, provided they do not log out of the ClickView App on the device.
