Why can't I request a program that airs tomorrow
We require at least 3 working days notice to record a Foxtel program
When can I expect the program to be available?
We strive to process the program as fast as possible, once it has aired. However, depending on the number of requests, it could take up to 7 days after the program has aired for it to appear in your videos.
What is the process?
We record each program on our Foxtel set top boxes, before our Content Curators carefully edit them to remove any unwanted content such as adverts, to provide you with clean recordings ready for use with students.
Will requesting a Foxtel program use a request credit?
Yes, Foxtel requests count towards your daily request limit.
I requested a program with closed captions but I can't turn them off when viewing the program.
Unfortunately, Foxtel does not allow us to store the closed captions as separate text, hence Foxtel's captions need to be embedded into the video. If you've selected the Closed Captions option, captions will appear as text within a black box on the screen and cannot be turned off.
Can I request any Foxtel program?
Yes, you can request any Foxtel program that airs on any of the channels listed on the request form. However, the ClickView Curation Team reserves the right to not fulfill a request that is not deemed educationally relevant. If you are unsure about the program you are requesting, please describe how it is educationally relevant in the comment field on the request form.
