Participant's guide for Victorian Mathematics Ambassadors

This article is a guide for all the participants of the Victorian Mathematics Ambassadors. This guide will walk them through with the process of accessing their accounts, uploading and sharing their video submissions.

 

1. How do I login to the Victorian Mathematics Ambassadors account?

All participants will be invited to the Victorian Mathematics Ambassadors account, you will receive your credentials to login to ClickView as follows:

  1. Navigate to https://clickview.net/login on your browser and click on 'Sign into ClickView' button:


  2. Enter your Victorian Mathematics Ambassadors username (This will be provided to you), as shown below:
  3. You will now be presented with the password field, in which you can fill the password of your Victorian Mathematics Ambassadors account (This will also be provided to you).
  4. Clicking on the 'Sign in' button will authenticate you through to ClickView, where you can upload your video submission, as described below:

2. How do I upload my video to ClickView?

Once you have logged into ClickView as described in part 1 above, you will now be able to upload your video submission, as follows:

  1. In ClickView, click on the upload symbol. This is the arrow pointing up symbol on top-right-hand corner as shown below:


  2. This will open up your PC's local repository, allowing you to choose the recorded video in your PC. Once you have located the video, please select it and click on Open as shown below:


  3. You will see on your screen that your video is being uploaded to you 'My Videos' section:


  4. Once uploaded, you can find your video in the 'My Videos' section:

3. What video formats are supported?

  • mp4
  • m4v
  • avi
  • mpeg
  • mov
  • asx
  • ogv
  • webm
  • wmv
  • ogm

4. How do I submit my video?

Once your video is uploaded to 'My Videos' in ClickView, as described in section 2 above. You can then simply submit your video to the panel as follows:

  1. In the 'My videos' section, click on the three verticle dots on the far right-side of your video, and select 'Add to Library' option:


  2. You will now be presented with choices of folders to select, please select the 'Participant Submission' folder and click on the 'Add to library' option:


  3. Congratulations! You have now secured your entry to the Victorian Mathematics Ambassadors competition! Your video submission will now be accessible to the panel:

NOTE: Please submit one final video to the Participant Submission folder only.

 

How do I record or upload a video using the ClickView iOS App?

The ClickView app is made for you to enjoy the best, most convenient user experience with ClickView. In the app you can record videos using your device, upload them to your personal Workspace, and then share them with your entire school. Check out the instructions below:

1. To upload a video, click on your profile from the main menu at the bottom of the app, and then click on the 'Camera' icon:

2. You will be presented with options of either 'Camera' or Camera Roll, select 'Camera':

3. You can then proceed to record the video and use it to upload under 'My Videos' section:

4. The uploaded video metadata can then be completed, by populating the 'Title' and 'Description' fields. The newly uploaded video will appear under your 'My Videos' section:

How do I submit my video?

Once your video is uploaded to 'My Videos' in ClickView, using your iOS device. You will have to login via your PC/Mac to submit your video, please refer to Step 1 of the Windows or MacOS section to login and steps below to submit your video:

  1. In the 'My videos' section, click on the three verticle dots on the far right-side of your video, and select 'Add to Library' option:


  2. You will now be presented with choices of folders to select, please select the 'Participant Submission' folder and click on the 'Add to library' option:


  3. Congratulations! You have now secured your entry to the Victorian Mathematics Ambassadors competition! Your video submission will now be accessible to the panel:

NOTE: Please submit one final video to the Participant Submission folder only.

 

How do I record and upload a video? (Android)

The ClickView Android app is made for you to enjoy the best, most convenient user experience with ClickView. You can also record videos using your device, upload them to your private digital workspace called "My Videos", then share them with your entire school.

Recording a video using ClickView app

  1. Select your profile from the menu located at the bottom of the screen:

  2. Tap the camera button on the top right corner:

  3. Select 'Record video using camera':

  4. You may be prompted to allow ClickView app to take pictures and record video. Select 'While using the app.':

  5. Press the record button to start recording:

  6. When you finish recording you will be prompted to enter the video details (title, description, rating). After you enter all required information, select 'Upload':

  7. Your video will start uploading. It may take a few minutes depending on the length of the video and your network bandwidth:

  8. Select 'Complete' button when your upload is ready:

  9. As soon as it is processed, your new video will appear in your "My Videos".


Uploading an existing video using ClickView app

  1. If you've already recorded a video that you would like to upload to your "My Videos", select your profile from the menu located at the bottom of the screen:

  2. Tap the camera button on the top right corner:

  3. Choose 'Select video from gallery':

  4. You may be prompted to allow ClickView app to access photos, media and files on your device. Choose 'Allow':

  5. Select an existing video from gallery:

  6. you will be prompted to enter the video details (title, description, rating). After you enter all required information, select 'Upload':
