An interactive video turns ANY lesson into a more engaging experience for your students. Interactive layers can be added into any videos or clips within ClickView. Educators can pick from a series of question types and choose at exactly what point in a video, these questions appear.
How do I make an interactive video?
1. Locate and select the video that you would like to add an interactive layer to.
2. Click the ‘Make interactive’’ button below the video.
3. Select the type of interactive you would like to create - ‘Instant feedback’ or ‘Classic quiz’:
Instant Feedback - Student will be able to see the results of their answers immediately, as well as any additional information and your recommended answers.
Classic Quiz - Results of the interactive questions will be revealed to the students once you have provided feedback and reviewed them.

4. Use the timeline at the bottom of the video to navigate to the position where you would like to add an interactive element:
5. Select an interactive element you would like to add. There are six different types of question that you can add to an interactive:
Multiple Choice
Type the question and answers into the relevant text boxes. Remember to tick the correct answer(s) to the question.
Click the ‘Save’ button when all edits have been made.
Short Answer
Type the question into the text box.
Click the ‘Save’ button once the question has been entered.
True or False
Type the relevant questions into the text boxes. Remember to tick the correct answer to the question.
Click the ‘Save’ button when all edits have been made.
Annotation
Type the relevant text into the text box provided. The text editor allows you to format your annotation and add hyperlinks.
Click the ‘Save’ button when all edits have been made.
Note: When viewing the interactive, the video will automatically pause and the annotated text will be displayed next to the video. To resume the video, click ‘Save and Continue’.

1. Select the 'upload from your device' link and navigate to the desired image on your computer.
2. The selected image will be displayed on the screen so that you can ensure you selected the correct image.
3. If you would like to insert a caption in conjunction with the image, enter the sentence into the provided text box.
Click the ‘Save’ button when all edits have been made.
Missing Word
Type the required sentence into the text box.
As you type the question, you will notice that the sentence will appear directly below the text box with each word surrounded by a grey box
Click on the words you want to hide from the initial sentence. You can click as many as you like.
After you have selected the required words from the sentence, make sure the preview is what you expected and click the ‘Save’ button.
Adjust Interactive Time Point
You can fine tune when any interactive element will appear by clicking the 3-dot icon and selecting ‘Move time point’. Thereafter, enter the desired time in the field or use the arrows to adjust:
Delete an Interactive
To delete any interactive elements, hover over the questions at the bottom of the screen and click the ‘Bin’ Icon.
Publish an Interactive
Once all edits have been made, click the ‘Publish’ button on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
This will take you to the review page where you can change the interactive’s name, description and if you want to Enable Instant feedback or/and Prevent skipping ahead by the students. You can do that by ticking the boxes as shown below:

Click the ‘Publish interactive’ button on the bottom right-hand corner of the page once you have finished.
You have now successfully created an interactive!
