Sharing with colleagues, students, classrooms or groups
With this option, you can specifically select any classrooms, groups, students or teachers you wish to share a video. Different colours help to easily identify the type of recipient.. Classrooms are teal; groups are red; students are dark blue; and staff are purple.
Simply search for the recipient/s and add any relevant message.. When you're done, click on Share! it's that simple:
Generate a link to share
This option enables you to even more features of sharing the video by clicking on the 'Create link' option:
A share link is automatically created. The generated share link can simply be copied and shared:
By default, the video ratings are respected and a handy link at the top of the window will allow you to easily identify who can view the video. The link is dynamic based upon the rating of the video you're sharing and also the access settings within your school. In the example below, an M rated video is being shared and the access settings allow years 11 and above to view it:
Clicking on the ratings link will give teachers the option to override or retain the ratings when sharing the link:
The 'Advanced settings' link allows teachers to change the privacy settings. Choose a link expiration, password protect, or delete the link altogether:
It's also possible to share via an embed link. This is common across some Learning Management Systems. The embed code can simply be copied and pasted into the LMS. Video size and an auto play feature are also associated to the embed link, and the advanced settings also apply.
Sharing via Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams
Depending on your schools integrations, you may also have the option to share your playlist directly to a Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams group:
