After performing a search in ClickView, you will now have access to a new way to search and filter specific video attributes with the use of the panel found on the top of the page.
Simply tick the relevant boxes within the top panel to ensure that the video content you are looking for is age appropriate or relevant to your subject field. A more streamlined video search result will be displayed with accordance to your filter option selection.
To use the full capabilities of this function, select the relevant filters that you wish to apply as per below:
Under ‘Grade levels’ you will be able to specify more specific grade levels. This will allow you to only search for videos that the selected Grade levels can view.
The ‘Sources’ filter will allow the user to look for videos only within their My Videos library or the entire ClickView Videos collection.
Ratings can also be used when performing a search so that you filter videos based on the classification ratings.
Resources filter when toggled on will only display videos that has learning resources (e.g. Interactives, Worksheets, etc.)
The 'Types' filter will show videos that are specific to the video type among the results.
More filters includes 'Production Year', 'Subtitles', 'Is HD', 'Is ClickView Content', and 'Duration' within this category.
This feature is best used when searching against popular titles, using 'Shakespeare' as an example, the user may be interested in a different video that is not a part of the popular movie series. By using the filters above, the user may then find a list of titles more specific to their needs that all outside the popular results.
As you can see, by using the above filters, a more specific list was generated to produce a more desirable and relevant result.
